My sort of cheap introductory sauna disintegrated after about a year (didn't expect much more but I was checking out whether I wanted a sauna). I decided to hunt around for a higher end portable. Vital+ had such great reviews so I bit the bullet, accessed some PayPal credit and bought the SaunaPod. I use it regularly for chronic inflammation and I am so in love! It has 5 sides so a bit more elbow room (much appreciated) but still fits cosily into a corner of a small room. Specs say it will reach 150 deg. F and by gosh it does! My other one promised 145 deg and never made it past 128 deg. The SaunaPod is true infrared, not just red light. And it's just a solid, well designed sauna. I am a retiree on a fixed income and I really feel like this was money spent well.

I’ve had my sauna pod for a couple of weeks now and have been using it 5 days a week — and it is literally the best investment I’ve made in my health this year.
I get out feeling completely relaxed, and the aches and pains in my thumbs, wrists, and knees are gone. It heats up fast and gets very hot (I’ve had mine up to 135° so far!). I also love the different light options — such a nice bonus feature.
It fits perfectly in my office, and the zip mechanisms work smoothly and feel well-made.
If you’ve been thinking about adding a sauna to your routine, I highly recommend it!
