I got this sauna after hours of research as my cardiologist thought this would good for my heart (quintuple bypass in 2020). This is the only portable sauna with 6 large “infrared” panels vs the “air units” that pump hot air. Night and day! Plus customer service is excellent with Vital Plus. I posed a question to two other brand saunas via their customer service email. It took each company 4 weeks to respond to my question. With regard to the Vital Plus Sauna Pod, the first time used the temp got up to 133F degrees (vs the 149 max). I put an old fireproof wool blanket over the top, nothing crazy, and it now gets to 145F degrees in about 20 minutes! Truly enjoying the Vital Plus Sauna Pod. Great value, very solid build quality, and excellent customer service. Get one, you'll love it!

We are really enjoying the SaunaPod. It heats up quickly and feels great. It was fairly easy to assemble. We did have one small issue with the piece that goes over the connectors for the infrared panels. They were not round and did not easily fit over the connectors. We did cover them with electrical tape to seal the connectors more fully. Other than this, assembly was quick and easy. This sauna is great, fits well into our space and very efficient!

I was a skeptic, a portable-tent-like infrared sauna? But I’m also a realist and didn’t want to spend thousands on something I wasn’t sure would work for me. But I rolled the dice and loved this thing! I can breathe very comfortably while in it. Excellent quality for the money, great product!

Firstly to get to the point because I know not everyone has time to read my story.
The customer service at Vital+ is second to non, I really can't fault the level of help and ongoing communication.
Secondly I'm so far very happy with the product, the quality looks good and it performs well.
I brought my sauna pod and paid the tax that was collected at checkout.
About 10 days later I received half my order which has me confused.
I contacted customer service and questioned whether the other part had gone missing in transit or was still on its way.
They tracked it and we found it was stuck at our NZ customs.
After watching it a few days and it hasn't moved we discovered that there was import duty and other customs charges owing and until that was paid it wouldn't be sent on.
I thought that this was a mistake because I'd paid the tax at checkout but upon contacting customs they said they couldn't collect it from the seller and I had to pay it and then recover what I'd already paid.
This was quite a hassle but I got there in the end albeit after having to pay almost twice as much tax as initially.
I received my order and vital promptly refunded the tax paid.
All in all a happy if somewhat protracted ending

A word of warning if you're in NZ check with customs before buying so you don't end up with a nasty surprise.
